Shade Med: Rear Admiral Stefano Turchetto opens the conference
Rear Admiral Stefano Turchetto, EUNAVFOR MED IRINI’s Operation Commander opens the 10th edition of the Shade Med Conference.
This year conference’s theme is “Sharing security, culture and values for a shared prosperity in the Med”. The aim is to encourage participants to carry out an in-depth reflection on what the region is experiencing. The Mediterranean region has been the cradle for the development of many civilizations over the centuries, it has been the center of trade and commerce, but also continues to experience conflict and regional instability.
