THE HONOURABLE MARIA TRIPODI, MEMBER OF ITALIAN PARLIAMENT, VISITS OPERATION IRINI’S HEADQUARTERS
The Honourable Maria Tripodi, member of Defense Commitee of the Italian Parliament, visited the headquarters of Operation Irini, hosted in the Italian Joint Operation Headquarters in Centocelle (Rome). Welcomed by the Irini’s Operation Commander, Rear Admiral Fabio Agostini, and his staff, Honourable Tripodi called Operation Irini “guarantee of stability, security and peace in the Mediterranean”, as well as a “pride of Italy” ad others EU countries. At the end of the visit, she thanked Admiral Agostini for the warm welcome and hospitality.
