General Rudolf STRIEDINGER, Chief of the Austrian Defence, visited IRINI OHQ in Rome
Today July 20th, the EUNAVFOR MED IRINI OHQ received the visit of the Austrian Chief of Defence Staff, General Rudolf STRIEDINGER.
The Operation Commander, Rear Admiral Stefano Turchetto, updated him on the status of the Operation and its recent accomplishments.
Afterward the visit continued with a tour of the EU OHQ, culminating in the JOC, the operational heart of the Hearthquarter.
Austria actively supports IRINI with military staff personnel deployed in Rome within the Operation HQ.
